Management for Projects Workshop |
|
1 day,
7 PDU course
| COURSE
DESCRIPTION |
|
Do
your projects constantly miss their deadlines and milestones? Always running late to the project completion date?
In this course the participants will
focus on one of the nine knowledge areas of project management, Time
Management. Time Management is the process by which project
teams determine the schedule to be used to successfully meet the
project completion date.
In order for the schedule of the
project to be properly defined it is necessary to interface with the
key stakeholders of the project. By no means is the project
schedule to be developed "in a vacuum."
This course is designed
to give you a working knowledge of Time Management for projects.
You
will be able to use these concepts the very next day on your projects
thus giving you the edge over your competition.
This course follows the best
practices for Project Time Management as outlined in the Guide to
the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK Guide®)
from the Project Management Institute (PMI®)
This Time Management for Projects workshop is interactive. It includes small
group
exercises, large group discussions, and instructor explanations.
